NHS Staff

Welcome to your NHS hospital charity

Frimley Health Charity reaches across the whole Trust, from Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals to Frimley Park and surrounding hubs. Our vision is to make a difference to improve our patients and our staffs lives across the Trust.

This section of our website is designed for staff working across our Trust. Here you’ll find guidance on fundraising in your ward or department, applying for charitable funding, and accessing wellbeing support.

Over the past few years, we have funded over £5 million of support to areas across the Trust, bringing in state of the art medical equipment, making major improvements to hospital areas for patients and staff and funding specialist training and research.

Your help can make all the difference.

One of the easiest ways you can help is by signposting patients, families, or visitors who ask how they can “give something back” or “make a difference”. Please encourage them to speak to Frimley Health Charity about the many ways they can support the hospital, ward, or service that helped them.

We’d also invite you to please wear your Frimley Health Charity lanyards or pin badges with pride. If you would like any free lanyards or pin badges, please do get in touch by emailing fhft.fundraising@nhs.net.

This simple act of spreading the word really does make all the difference.

To find out about more ways you and the charity can work together or seek support please click one of the options below.

Pennies From Heaven lets staff donate the pennies from their monthly pay directly to Frimley Health Charity.

If your salary is £1,056.23, you donate just 23p and receive £1,056.00 in your pay. The most anyone can give is 99p per month — but together, those pennies create a big impact.

Signing up is quick and easy: simply visit the Pennies from Heaven website and enter your name and staff number, found on your payslip.

When we all take part, we turn small change into BIG CHANGE.

Many patients and families want to give something back during or after treatment. By introducing them to Frimley Health Charity and the work we do, you can help ensure their generosity supports exactly the ward, team or service they wish to thank.

We can provide information, materials and guidance to help you share our work with patients and colleagues. If you’d like to know more, please get in touch by clicking here.

You can also support us by taking a moment to like, follow and engage with our social media pages on Facebook, Instagram and X (Twitter). Every interaction helps us reach more people and grow support across the Trust.

Giving regularly through your pay is a simple and meaningful way to support the charity. Just email the Payroll team to get everything set up.

You can choose any amount that feels right for you, and you’re free to change or cancel your donation at any time by letting the Payroll team know.

Because Payroll Giving donations are taken before tax, your gift goes further. For every £1 you donate, you only pay 80p – and if you’re a higher‑rate taxpayer, it costs just 60p. That means your generosity can stretch up to 40% further.
