If you dare to do something different this year then Frimley Health Charity has just the challenge for you – skydiving!
You choose the skydive venue and jump date that suits you best. There are locations up and down the country through our charity skydive partner with Reading being the closest location to our hospital sites. Your training and skydive are completed in one day. You jump harnessed to a professional parachute instructor, who controls the free fall, parachute opening and landing PLUS, if you raise £395 in sponsorship you won’t have to pay for the cost of the jump!
As a fundraiser of Frimley Health Charity, you will be supported throughout your challenge event preparations. Our Events Team will be on-hand to encourage you with your fundraising, support you, answer any questions you may have and to thank you for all your hard work and support!
You will receive:
A free top of your choice to wear on your jump, Free merchandise, Expert fundraising advice and tips of help you get started, Materials to help you smash your fundraising target, Training advice, 1 on 1 support from the day you register to post-event, a Dedicated group chat with other FHC runners for support and more!

Every day, fundraisers like you are having a direct impact to improve our patients lives and by you choosing to jump and fundraise for us, we are as a result able to invest in state-of-the-art medical equipment, make major improvements to hospital areas for patients and staff and fund specialist training and research at a time when it has never been needed more, and for that we thank you!

Register hereLeaving the aircraft from up to 13,000ft you’ll reach speeds of 120mph (that’s as fast as a Golden Eagle diving for prey, by the way!) You’ll experience the rush and buzz of freefall strapped to a professional and experienced parachute instructor. Your instructor will release the canopy at about 5000ft and you can either help them steer the parachute home or leave them to do it for you and ‘relax’ as the parachute deploys, and you gently descend back to the cheers of your supporters below.
This is your must do thing for this year, a once-in-a-lifetime fundraising tandem skydive, where you will also be helping Frimley Health Charity improve patients’ lives and staff wellbeing across our NHS hospitals.

If we already know about your fundraising, but you need some balloons, banners, brochures, or collection tins to help with your fundraising then please let us know by emailing our wonderful events team at fhft.events@nhs.net and will be touch or call us on 0300 6153206 and we’ll be happy to arrange this for you.
Once all of the hard work and excitement of your fundraising event or activity is over, you will need to send the money you have raised to us as soon as possible so that it can start helping patients feel even better right away. We recommend that you do this no later than 4-6 weeks after your event.
