Face to Face Fundraiser for Frimley Health Charity – Band 5

 Job overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for some additional income and wanting the flexibility of a Bank role.  Evening, weekend and daytime roles all available working within the hospital.

 

This is a sales position for someone who thrives on face-to-face communication, works to achieve targets and enjoys meeting new people. You will use your skills within the charitable sector and have a real impact on Frimley Health Charity’s income and the work they are able to do.

 

With the income for the Frimley Health Charity lottery expected to move from £0.55m this year to £1.35m in 3 years’ time, these roles will be instrumental in the projected growth. You will promote the Lottery and recruit new members at our various sites as well as at a range of events

hosted by the trust throughout the year.

 

Main duties of the job

The post-holder reports directly to and works closely with the Individual Giving Manager to ensure that overall financial and lottery objectives are met whilst upholding the customer and the hospitals’ best interests at all times.

 

You will be friendly, approachable and empathetic, with a desire to represent Frimley Health Charity as a brand ambassador. The post holder’s primary task will be recruiting new members for the lottery, in line with set sales targets, alongside raising the profile of the charity to patients, staff

and visitors.

 

About You

For this role you will need:

  • Excellent face to face communication skills and a positive and enthusiastic nature
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and using your own initiative
  • Be able to work as part of a small team to develop and promote the Lottery to achieve the set targets and budgets
  • Excellent computer skills and administration skills, including ability to use a tablet to input sensitive data
  • Previous experience in a target driven sales or promotional role is desirable
  • A commitment to ethical working practices, in line with best practice e.g. GDPR and Gambling Commission
