Asking friends and family to donate through a funeral collection in lieu of flowers is a wonderful way to remember a loved one.
Many people are choosing to set up their In Memory donations online. For those who cannot be present at the funeral, an online giving page offers a different option for people to show their support in memory of someone special.
You can create a personalised online page to commemorate the life of a loved one. Every single donation, no matter how large or small, will make a difference to future patients and families at our hospitals.
When you create an online In Memory page with Just Giving they also create a Tribute Fund. This is accessed by clicking the name of your loved one on the collection page. The Tribute Fund acts as a hub for any extra fundraising that friends and family may want to do in the future. If you were considering any additional fundraising, you can direct people to sign up through this page to do anything from skydiving to running to raise funds in memory of your loved one.
This can help bring everyone together, to support each other and say goodbye to the person. If this is something you are considering and would like to offer people the option of donating In Memory, we can provide Frimley Health Charity collection envelopes to make it easier to coordinate.
