Happy Birthday to the Frimley Health Charity Lottery!

We can hardly believe it, but this week marks the third birthday of our Weekly Charity Lottery.

Every week our lottery players enable us to fundraise for projects that help us improve upon NHS provision for the benefit of patients and staff across the Trust.

What are funds raised from the lottery used for?

Over the past three years, we have been able to support our large fundraising appeals for Stroke, Breast Research and the recently launched Dementia Appeal. Alongside these, we have funded many other smaller projects such as new rehabilitation equipment for our inpatient and community Physiotherapy teams to use with patients, Android tablets for isolated patients to stay in contact with loved ones, and the purchase of sensory equipment for use with vulnerable patients in A&E at Wexham.

Since we began in 2018, we have celebrated with 2 players who have won £10,000 each and 58 who have each won £1,000, in addition to thousands of £25 and £5 prize winners.

Why support us via our Charity Lottery?

Players choose to support us in this way for a variety of reasons. Some to say thank you for looking after them or their loved ones during their hour of need, others because they feel so lucky to have our teams on their doorstep when they need us.
