Friends helping each other

Friends helping each other

Natasha Kosky is one of Emma Geldenhuys best friends and when she heard that Emma wanted to raise £6000 for the Rowen suite she approached her boss and asked if there was anything Waitrose could do to support her friend.

Emma lives in Aldershot with her husband Trevor and their daughter Ruby, they also have a son, Ellis.  Unfortunately Ellis was stillborn on the 21st June 2019 at full term. Emma and Trevor have set up a fundraising page in memory of their gorgeous boy to help raise money for the hospital that helped them through what as Emma said ‘was quite honestly, the worst time of our lives. Frimley Park Hospital’s maternity ward has one of the best reputations in the UK and one of the very few hospitals that have a bereavement suite’.

The result was the cheque for £500 from Waitrose.

Guess the moral of the story is don’t be afraid to ask your employer you never know what they might do to help others.
