Rachel said:

“We couldn’t be any more proud of him right now. For some this is a normal haircut but for Shane this is so much more.

Shane collected an amazing £700

“After a short period at home with me home schooling him the best I could, he was granted a place with Reading Football Club Community Trust. It is a scheme run by some fantastic mentors.

“Shane’s mental health and social interaction has improved since being there and it was while he was out with his mentor during Covid 19 that Shane decided he wanted to give something back to those doing their best for others, the NHS and keyworkers.

Thank you to everyone who sponsored him for this great cause.”
