We want to tell you about our incredible fundraiser Shelly, who recently took part in the New York marathon, raising money for Frimley Health Charity and the Eden ward at Wexham Park Hospital, as a thank you to the team for looking after her sister Natalie.

In June of 2022 their worlds were turned upside down when Natalie was diagnosed with Leukaemia. Natalie was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic & acute myeloid and since her diagnosis has undergone the most powerful and brutal chemotherapy, meaning she has spent a lot of time away from home and her loved ones.

Shelly decided she wanted to raise funds for the Eden ward so took on the incredible challenge of the New York marathon. Shelly has managed to raise over £12,000 which is an incredible achievement and will truly make such a difference to the Eden ward – WELL DONE SHELLY! You are an inspiration! The sisters wanted to give a special shout out to Farshad, Richard, Bhaggi, Jakub, Clara, Hazel, Mercy and Saffron, who work on Eden ward and have looked after Natalie so incredibly.
