Happy 25th Birthday this September to us

The Frimley Health Charity was set up on 26th September 1995, when it was known as the Frimley Park Hospital NHS Trust Charitable Fund.

Frimley Park 1974

It changed its name to the Frimley Health Charity in April 2015 when Frimley Park Hospital merged with Wexham Park Hospital and Heatherwood Hospital and became the Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.

The charity now supports the three hospitals focusing on the major appeals whilst also supporting a number of minor appeals. It fundraises continually through events with individual and corporate sponsorship and merchandising and benefits from donations, grants and legacies.

Just some of our appeals:

Saving Eyesight Appeal (Frimley Park) 2005 – 2011 £135,677.
This established the large, very modern, purpose-built Ophthalmology unit providing up-to-date diagnostic and treatment facilities.

Paediatric Critical Care Appeal (Wexham Park) 2017 – 2018 £261,831.
This appeal was to raise funds for the latest state-of-the-art technical equipment and monitoring systems, and to furnish the family rooms for parents.

Nursing fund, which has been on-going since 2000 (Frimley Park) – £504,604
