The Brighton Marathon is one of the UK’s favourite 26.2-milers. With a stunning backdrop of the sea in one of the country’s most vibrant cities, the race gets bigger and better every year. Renowned for its buzzing atmosphere and roaring crowd support, the course winds through the city streets, finishing up on the spectacular Brighton seafront. The marathon is just one part of the Brighton Marathon Weekend, an event that also encompasses The Mini Mile Races, the BM10k and the Brighton Marathon Exhibition.
The BM10k allows those who prefer a shorter distance the opportunity to experience the amazing atmosphere and roaring crowds of Brighton Marathon Weekend. The fast, flat course winds through the iconic city centre before finishing on the seafront, where runners can celebrate with friends and family in the Event Village and enjoy live screens, food, bars and of course, deck chairs!
Charity places for the Brighton Marathon are at a reduced rate of only £30 and £20 for the BM10K and we just ask that you kindly pledge to raise a minimum of £500 (Marathon) and £200 (BM10K), which we will be with you every step of the way to help you achieve and smash!

“In May 2020 after suffering with breathing issues and being unable to walk, eat and sit up. I was diagnosed with a rare auto-immune disease, Polymyositis – which attacks your muscles. I found being in hospital incredibly hard but felt very privileged and humbled with the incredible care I received by truly amazing people, who did so much to make my stay as easy as possible, especially during a global pandemic. Without their help and encouragement, I would not have got my life back and walked out of the hospital 2 months later. To say thank you to the staff who took care of me, I took part in both Run Frimley 2021 & 2022 and ran to raise money for the trust” – Caroline
