ICU Garden – Wexham Park Hospital

A Garden of Care at Wexham Park Hospital
Rest, Reflect, Recharge – Right at the Heart of Our Hospital

Our Vision

Frimley Health Charity is on a mission to create something truly special: a therapeutic outdoor space and end-of-life garden room in the grounds of Wexham Park Hospital. We’re transforming a tired, underused patio into a vibrant, healing haven – a space that brings patients, families, and staff closer to nature during life’s most difficult moments.

This space will feature abundant and restorative planting, smooth and accessible pathways, and a bespoke, calming garden room.

Together, we’ll create a sanctuary of peace, providing patients with time away from the wards, families with space to reflect, and staff with a place to breathe. Whether someone has days or decades to live, this garden will give them what matters most: time and space.

Why This Garden Matters

Wexham Park Hospital is the closest acute care provider for thousands across Berkshire and beyond. Every day, it supports people at their most vulnerable.

Help Us Reach Our Goal

We’re raising £200,000 to bring this vision to life. We have already raised £140,000, thanks to the amazing support of our supporters and lottery players, and have £60,000 left to raise. So your gift today can help transform lives.

Your donation will help us serve over 300 patients annually, primarily from intensive care, as well as more than 5,000 family members and staff members across the hospital each year.
