Help us to celebrate Frimley Health Charity’s 30th birthday and join us at Walk 4 Wards for its 3rd year! Enjoy a scenic and custom-designed 5-mile walk or trail run through stunning countryside, with beautiful fields and abundant wildlife. Upon your return, you’ll be greeted with delicious refreshments at the charmingly converted Stokes Farm Barn as part of your entry.
Who will you walk or run for? Choose to participate in honour of a ward that has supported you or a loved one, or in memory of someone special, celebrating their life and legacy.
Join us with friends, family, colleagues, and even your furry four-legged companions – dogs are welcome! For the younger ones, we have a scavenger hunt to keep them entertained along the way. Please note, you must be able to complete the walk or run within 3.5 hours – on average it takes 2-2.5 hours.
Free parking is available onsite, along with toilets to use before you head out. Please note that there are no additional restrooms or water stops along the route, so be sure to bring snacks and a bottle of water to stay hydrated.

However, if you prefer, you can also set up a fundraising page on Just Giving and link it to our Walk 4 Wards 2025 Just Giving campaign.
**Please note: We advise against bringing children under the age of 7, due to the distance and uneven trail course, unless they are small enough to be held in a carrier or in a multi-terrain running/walking pushchair, then they can join for free! Unfortunately, due to the multi-terrain surface, our route may not be suitable for pushchairs or wheelchair users. For more information, please contact our Events Team on the details below**

So, if you’re unable to take part, or perhaps you have family and friends taking part who you’d like to support on the day, we’d love you to join our volunteer team! “At the age of 35, I suffered a significant stroke which left me unable to speak, walk or write. This was a major concern and fright for, not only myself, but my friends and family. I was cared for by Frimley Park Hospital and given initial consultations and physiotherapy by the amazing Doctors, as well as being so well cared for by the nurses there. All FPH staff were so conscientious and considerate of my situation. The care they gave to me and my loved ones is something I will never ever forget and being able to raise money for Frimley Health Charity is only a small way in which I can express my gratitude.”
“It was a pleasure to be part of such a great event to show my appreciation and give back to the ward who took such great care of me” – Marie
“What a well organised event, we loved taking part and fundraising for a ward very close to our hearts. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me and my family” – Jodie
After the hard work and excitement of your fundraising event or activity, we kindly ask that you submit the funds you have raised as soon as possible.
