Your donations have created a Dementia Hub

The Dementia Appeal is making a difference to our care already

This is where your donations go

Over the past couple of months, we have been working on a ‘Dementia Hub’ at Wexham Park Hospital with the team.

The area central in the hospital, has been revamped to give a safe place for patients to explore outside and a room to talk with families.

Still a few finishing touches to go, but the team can’t wait to start using this area.

With your funding so far through our Dementia Appeal, we were able to pay for a gardener, new furniture, painting and wall paper.  Creating a space for activities, care and private consultations.  Our Appeal has been running since late last year and has already made a great difference with vinyl doors for distraction, activity equipment and now this hub.

The Appeal like no other, means we can support our wonderful dementia team work tirelessly to ensure dementia patients feel at ease during their hospital stay, we want to do everything possible to support their plight and help them lead the way in future dementia care. That is why we need you. Help us change the lives of Dementia patients at your local hospital.

The garden was originally created in 2014 by Nick Knowles!

Please continue to support us so we can carry on our work

We believe they all deserve the best possible care.
