On 26th September, we had the delight of welcoming Run Frimley back as a live event.

Over 800 participants took to the streets of Frimley in our 2.5km family fun run or our 10km road race.

The event started with Yvonne and Fleet & Church Crookham athletics club doing the warm up – making sure everyone was ready to go. We had Radio Frimley Park playing the tunes, getting everyone into the spirit of the event and we had the local scouts coming down and providing the hot drinks and treats for all our runners.

The 2.5km started at 9:30am and the 10km road race started at 10:30am. Everyone put in an amazing effort with our fastest runner – running the 10km race in under 34 minutes, which is truly amazing!

We at Frimley Health Charity want to say thank you so much to everyone who came down on the day to take part or support a loved one. Our amazing runners managed to raise over £36,000 which is going to our Dementia Appeal – which is a truly incredible amount.
