On the NHS’ 74th birthday Frimley Health Charity were delighted to officially open the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Garden.
The ‘Find our Way – NHS Tribute Garden’ was opened at Wexham Park on Tuesday by the garden designers Naomi Ferrett – Cohen and Lucy Rowe, after RHS Chelsea Flower Show offered the award winning garden to the charity. The charity were so excited to be able to give the stunning garden its forever home and the 2 designers worked incredibly hard with Emma Carr, the charity’s Arts and Creative Health Manager to redesign the original garden so it is fit for the space outside Wexham Park’s Day Surgery.
The redesign of the garden kept the original dramatic timber arches and the warm palette and soft textures of planting. The garden is a celebration of the NHS and is a tranquil, relaxing space for both patients and staff to enjoy.
Emma Carr, Arts and Creative Health Manager for Frimley Health Charity says ‘This garden is an absolute joy, and Naomi, Lucy and I are so proud of what has been created. I want to thank all teams that helped create this truly incredibly space and I hope staff and patients enjoy their new garden.’
