Created artistic distraction in the children’s treatment room

Helen Brady was commissioned by the Arts Committee Charitable funds,  to create artwork in the Children’s treatment ward.

The rest of the ward had been updated last year at Frimley Park.  The doctors and nurses needed to have a ‘distraction’ to give medical treatment, yet keeping within the new theme of the ward.

A local artist was commissioned on a two-day project to create ‘portholes’ using the colours and theme throughout the ward decor.

‘Finding the pearl’ across the three designs became the focus. Helen Brady from Inspired-spaces.co.uk was fantastic!  From the brief, meeting staff and the conduct of her work. The room had to continue as a treatment area.  The staff and the patients have really found a talking point about with the artwork-doing exactly what we needed it to do.
