“Frimley Park has been a big part of our lives since early pregnancy with my son, Aaron. Throughout the first few year’s of his life, Aaron endured X-rays, MRI’s and blood tests to find out why he couldn’t crawl, walk or talk. During this investigation, Aaron was also diagnosed with Epilepsy. In January 2023 we finally received the news that Aaron in fact has a very rare genetic disorder called KBG Syndrome (there are currently only 400 cases around the world). If it wasn’t for Dr Lee’s dedication and unwillingness to give up on Aaron, I feel this diagnosis could have taken many more years. Aaron has regular check-ups concerning his heart, sight and hearing – all of which are areas of concern for people living with KBG. We are so, so grateful for Dr Lee leaving no stone unturned and feel Aaron is in safe hands under his care. I am so pleased to have raised this money for Frimley Health Charity. Thank you Frimley Park Hospital and Dr Lee!!” ~ Laura (Aaron’s Mum)
“ So much fun, great participation and engagement on the day. A must – an annual engagement for my family now! ” ~ Sarah
“What a fabulous, well-organised event, we absolutely loved taking part and especially enjoyed the choir and snow! Our whole family will be back again next year!” ~ Jenny
“What great fun, we both thoroughly enjoyed taking part and it was so lovely to hear how much money the event raised and how this will support so many wards, patients and their loved ones” ~ Rob
We need an army of cheerers, marshals, and general event volunteers to make this event special. So, if running isn’t your thing, you’re unable to take part, or perhaps you have family and friends taking part who you’d like to support on the day, we’d love you to join our volunteer team!
