The Edinburgh Marathon Festival is Scotland’s biggest running event, offering something for everyone. Held over a weekend in the historic city of Edinburgh, this festival of running attracts participants from all over the world. The marathon course is renowned for being flat and fast, making it perfect for seasoned runners aiming for a personal best or fundraisers for the charity of their choice. With stunning views of the city and coastlines, this event is a fantastic way to experience Edinburgh’s iconic landmarks while raising money for worthy causes.
Charity Places for the Half & Marathon are available at a HUGELY discounted rate of just £20 (Half) & £30 (Marathon) with a minimum fundraising pledge of £300 (Half) and £400 (Marathon).
Please note, we have a limited number of places available on a first come first serve basis.
As a fundraiser of FHC, you will be supported throughout your challenge event preparations. Our Events Team will be on-hand to encourage you with your fundraising, support you with your training, answer any questions you may have and to thank you for all your hard work and support!

“At the age of 35, I suffered a significant stroke which left me unable to speak, walk or write. This was a major concern and fright for, not only myself, but my friends and family. I was cared for by Frimley Park Hospital and given initial consultations and physiotherapy by the amazing Doctors, as well as being so well cared for by the nurses there. All FPH staff were so conscientious and considerate of my situation. The care they gave to me and my loved ones is something I will never ever forget and being able to raise money for Frimley Health Charity is only a small way in which I can express my gratitude.”
