We had one of our wonderful supporters contact us with this fantastic idea and thought it was a really lovely way to support our NHS staff at this time.

John wrote to us saying;
“I couldn’t applaud tonight. I’m not particularly well it’s very cold and I don’t want to add to your workload! However it’s not because I don’t appreciate you all so I’ve decided until the weather improves I’m going to make a small donation at 8pm every week until the weather improves and I started tonight. May I suggest you start a new campaign…. ‘Donate at Eight’? I’m already in.”
So we are doing exactly what he suggested and launching a ‘Donate at 8’ campaign if you wish to choose to support us this way instead (or as well as) standing outside and applauding our incredible NHS staff.

Everything we do is about improving the treatment of local patients and supporting our amazing NHS staff to deliver the best quality of care in all our hospitals across the trust. Your donation will help us to support staff wellbeing and psychological support, enhance staff spaces to provide comfortable internal and external areas for staff to take a break during/after their shifts and help where it is most needed.
