“ The donation was from my 8 yr old son who woke up one morning asking if he could donate money, I thought he would offer a week’s pocket money (£2.50) and was quite shocked when he asked to basically give his saved up birthday and Christmas money. He truly wanted to help and specifically Frimley Park Hospital, as we were in the children’s ward on March 17th (feels like a long time ago now) all prepared to go to theatre for an operation but it got cancelled at the last minute. He was disappointed not to have it but I think he saw what an impact the crisis was having already.
Thank you to you and all the amazing staff nationwide.
We are all truly grateful and will be clapping again Thursday night.
Wishing you all the very best
Roxy and Finley”
