Frimley Park Haematology Unit
Help patients get the best possible care
Your donations will support patients on their long road to recovery through investment in new technologies, equipment and family friendly facilities.
Your support will help the Haematology Unit at Frimley Park Hospital
Haematology involves diagnosing and treating patients who have blood disorders.
For example, this may include patient’s blood cancers such as leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma that require chemotherapy or screening for diseases like malaria.
Frimley Health’s haematology department at Frimley Park Hospital comprises clinical areas and a laboratory analytical area, which is part of Partnership Pathology Services (a joint venture with a number of neighbouring NHS hospitals trusts).
The charity’s goal is to provide equipment and services that go beyond the NHS for patients, staff and visitors. We work hard with the hospital to ensure that the charity is not plugging the gaps. What you are helping to provide genuinely enhances the healthcare available to the local community in a way that would not otherwise be possible.
The charity pays no VAT on medical equipment, so your money goes further to provide the kind of specialist equipment that makes such a difference to people in their hour of need.
